Conventional clarifier requires large surface area and with the use of tube settlers this area requirement can be minimized. Tube Settler is made of PVC and offers enhanced capacity for settling suspended solids in a fractional area. Tube Settlers can be installed within settling tanks, both existing and new. Tube settlers increase the effective area of a basin (5.5 m2/m2 for a 500 mm deep module) and decrease the effective particle settling distance drastically. Tube Settlers enhances the particle agglomeration and growth, brings the particles into closer contact with each other at the bottom of the tube. This is aided by the v-shape of the tubes and the counter-current flow of the incoming effluent and receding solids.
